When you create a Percy account, we collect your name, email address, and basic business information such as your business name and industry. If you connect third-party services (such as Shopify, Gmail, or payment processors), we receive the data necessary to operate your agents, including order details, customer communications, and inventory records.
We automatically collect usage data when you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, agent configurations, and performance metrics. We use essential cookies for authentication and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How We Use It
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Percy platform. This includes running your autonomous agents, processing your business data through connected integrations, and generating performance insights. We also use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our agent models and platform reliability.
We may use your email address to send service-related communications such as security alerts, product updates, and account notifications. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent, and we never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is restricted through role-based access controls with multi-factor authentication. We conduct regular security audits and maintain an incident response plan.
Your business data is logically isolated from other customers. Agent operations run in sandboxed environments, and all agent actions are logged with full audit trails. We follow SOC 2 Type II practices for infrastructure security and data handling.
Third-Party Services
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including cloud infrastructure (AWS), email delivery, and payment processing. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
Your business data processed by Percy agents is never shared with third parties for their own purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models shared with other customers.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can manage most of these actions directly from your account settings, or you can request assistance by contacting us. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect, the right to opt out of data sales (we do not sell data), and the right to non-discrimination. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
